Staff Product Designer

Hybrid · London · Full-time

Lead product design for enterprise experiences that favour clarity, restraint, and operator trust. You set design direction across complex workflows and elevate craft without decorative noise.

The role

As Staff Product Designer at AdvanzoTech, you own end-to-end design quality for products and client-facing platforms used by institutions. You translate domain complexity into interfaces that remain calm under pressure — precise typography, purposeful hierarchy, and interactions that respect how operators actually work.

You partner with product, engineering, and delivery to establish design systems, critique standards, and research practice that scale across engagements. Your work is judged by whether stakeholders and end users can act with confidence — not by visual spectacle.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery, interaction design, and visual systems for high-stakes enterprise products.
  • Establish and evolve design language that stays coherent across AdvanzoTech products and client work.
  • Facilitate critiques and co-design sessions that raise the bar without performative debate.
  • Partner with engineering on implementation fidelity, accessibility, and sustainable component craft.
  • Mentor designers and contribute written design rationale that survives handoffs and leadership change.

Requirements

  • Staff-level portfolio demonstrating complex enterprise or institutional product design.
  • Mastery of interaction design, information architecture, and systems thinking across multi-surface products.
  • Strong facilitation skills with cross-functional stakeholders and technical partners.
  • Commitment to accessibility, clarity, and editorial restraint over trend-driven UI.
  • Ability to write clear design rationale and ship through engineering collaboration.

Nice to have

  • Experience designing for regulated domains or operational control surfaces.
  • Familiarity with design systems at scale and contribution to shared component libraries.
  • Motion craft used for hierarchy and presence — not decoration.
